Video: Trench (Strongpoint) Assault Class

This is video from the weekend-long trench assault class held last year. It is clearly a lot harder that it looks in the video!

We have not scheduled any stand-alone trench assault classes this year (but we are open to suggestions), but we do include the trench as an objective on the Squad Tactics Class (10-13 September).

Assaulting a trench has a lot in common with Close Quarter Battle (the CQB class is 11-14 June) and these are two excellent classes for practicing CQB-style maneuvers.

All in all, the CQB and Trench Assault classes not only give you a lot of practice in the various maneuvers needed, but they are also excellent leadership and teamwork classes. You can see even in the video below how much communication is happening to execute what look like simple maneuvers.
