Open Enrollment Schedule & Announcement

MVT has the following open enrollment classes available for the remainder of the year and into early 2027:

HEAT Reconnaissance 13-16 August.

HEAT Squad Tactics 10-13 September.

HEAT 1 Combat Tactics 01-04 October.

HEAT 2 Combat Patrol 22-25 October.

Combat Lifesaver 06-08 November.

HEAT 3 Night Operations 20-22 November.

Texas HEAT 1 Combat Tactics 17-20 February 2027.

Texas Alumni Live Fire 20-27 February 2027.

Going forward, the plan will be to no longer offer open enrollment classes. I will make a short video and explain the reasoning for that. It is possible that their may be exceptions, probably in the case of classes that are hard to organize privately, such as an annual Squad Tactics class. We shall see.

For those wanting to get on an open enrollment class, I suggest taking advantage of the ones listed above, while they are still available.

The question has been asked: How do I organize a private class?

MVT has run many private classes, they are very simple to organize. All that is required is an ‘organizer’ or ‘facilitator’ who has a group who want training. That can be your own group, or organizing among friends or fellow students using your social media channels and contacts. Then, approach me (max@maxvelocitytactical.com) to agree the class and dates for it, and we run it. Simple. It avoids the major stresses on my part of throwing darts at the wall planner and issuing a training calendar for the year, where some of those open enrollment classes will not garner sufficient interest and would get cancelled.

It is also possible that if you gather a small group, but perhaps not of sufficient size for the class, and would like to get more students loaded on the class, then we can advertise via this blog / social media to achieve that.

For payment for classes, there are essentially two ways. Either, you have students pay me as for open enrollment classes, with everyone sending in their class fee. Or, you do it as per the mobile class page (menu, under the training tab, Mobile Classes). Mobile classes are effectively private classes, but we can run them at the VTC in Romney also.
