Private and Small Group Instruction

Book a Private Class

MVT can be extremely flexible with private classes. They can be run at the home-base facility at the Velocity Training Center in Romney, WV. We have run an annual classes in Texas. Idaho, Oklahoma, Missouri, Georgia and many other states are included. We need suitable training land with backstops for live fire, or we can include AirSim where required or necessary. We offer the standard MVT training class progression, or combination of classes. Training progression and prerequisites remain as standard. For private mobile class bookings, we will quote a daily rate inclusive of travel. For all classes we will drive to your location.

Class progression / prerequisites apply as per open enrollment classes. We can offer hybrid classes with the necessary training and safety progression built in. Please email to begin a discussion on running a private class for your group: Contact Us.

For live fire classes, there are some basic considerations. Outline:

25 meter range (or longer) with target stands / backers / space for the number of students.
Barrels / barricades or similar.
Covered seating lecture area with magnetic whiteboard.
Suitable private land for live fire tactical drills, including backstops and friendly neighbors.
Tactical targets and miscellaneous equipment will be brought in the truck.

Pricing: A standard price of $2000 – 2850 per day, based on a daily rate per person for 8 or 12 students, is standard. Get in touch to discuss other options and pricing. Travel expenses (gas / hotels) will be added depending on location and accommodation at site.

Small Group Instruction

Max Velocity Tactical has traditionally offered large group instruction in small unit tactics, and has done so for the 13 years we have been in operation. As part of that instruction we have also been very good at teaching the basics of rifle and handgun skills – because you have to get your gun back in the fight before you can raise your situational awareness. I have often been asked to provide individual or small group instruction, but have always deferred to our standard of running classes between eight and twelve students. And some of those classes need that amount of students in order to run properly, for example, the Squad Tactics class.

Based on that, I am going to offer the option of non-standard classes to fewer numbers of students. Reach out to me with what it is that you need. I will consult with you to determine the best way forward. This could be anything from:

Small group tactics.
