Now that has to be the coolest commercial I have EVER seen!
Excellent video. Watched several times. Makes me think of constant scanning, repositioning your cover, and rate of fire…things I need to work on. Look forward to putting my VERSA in the field.
Fun facts:
1) The video is a scenario, in order to put the rig through its paces. Would it have been better to break contact? Yes. If fighting through, would it have been better to have a team? Yes. Don’t overthink it!
2) If you notice the video jumps mid way through the firefight, when I am in front of a target? I had to cut and edit the video. My intent was to go through it all in one go – in fact there was no rehearsal, and I had put the targets out a few days before, so there was a genuine effort to scan and acquire them in the trees. So what you see is what you see. So why cut and edit? I got swarmed by yellow jackets, and had to run off the range, then come back again 5 minutes later! One of the bites is on my temple, and my whole face is swollen up. Fun.
3) Which leads me to: there is supposed to be an accompanying video from the MVT bunker, showing the features of the VERSA Rig. I have to wait for the swelling to go down, then I will make that video to accompany this one.
