Offering Private and Small Group Instruction

Max Velocity Tactical has traditionally offered large group instruction in small unit tactics, and has done so for the 13 years we have been in operation. As part of that instruction we have also been very good at teaching the basics of rifle and handgun skills – because you have to get your gun back in the fight before you can raise your situational awareness. I have often been asked to provide individual or small group instruction, but have always deferred to our standard of running classes between eight and twelve students. And some of those classes need that amount of students in order to run properly, for example, the Squad Tactics class.

Two weeks or so ago I agreed to teach an individual some AR-centric drills because he was going for a particular SOF selection and felt he needed the reps. That included, over two days, everything from the flat range rifle skills, to ending up running break contact drills between the two of us. It was a blast.

Based on that, I am going to offer the option of non-standard classes to fewer numbers of students. Reach out to me with what it is that you need. I will consult with you to determine the best way forward. This could be anything from:
