Housekeeping: This website.

Some of you may have noticed that the forum has gone away. My web services company is in the process of making edits to the website to simplify it and reduce the monthly costs to me.

Bottom line is that I can’t afford to keep the full service open given current demand for classes. So I’m pulling back into my shell.

Expect over the next 10 days or so that the website, although it will still be here, will be simplified a little and thus cost me a lot less in monthly fees.

Also, I hope you have seen my post concerning not running open enrollment classes after the current training schedule expires. This sort of announcement often causes panic, and I really wish it would not. There is no conspiracy here, it is simply a case of wanting to run private, rather than open enrollment, classes.

How does that work? It isn’t really that complicated. A student just needs to approach me with the idea of running a class, we agree dates, and then we put it out there to fill it to the numbers required. The key difference between that and a calendar-scheduled open enrollment class is that I know there is interest in running it on certain dates, which reduces my level of stress and scrambling to fill it to the right numbers. It’s just one of those things about open enrollment classes – you throw stuff at the yearly calendar and most of it will stick but some of it won’t and then you have a class that won’t run.

If you are out there and there is a class that you like to attend, simply reach out to me and before you know it, I’ll schedule it!

Thanks!

Max
