Here at Max Velocity Tactical we are making gear that has been designed to fill your needs, and follows the MVT Gear Philosophy, which can be read about in more detail HERE.

Gear Pieces:

• Emergency now: concealed carry handgun on belt, throw on Chest Rig to run the rifle.

Basics:

• Day to day you are probably / should be concealed carrying a handgun. Thus you have options to run a handgun set up, either concealed or overt, on your pants belt. If you have an immediate emergency situation your go-to in this situation is your handgun.

• If you have time / access (due to location / planning) you then have the option of grabbing your rifle.

• When you grab your rifle, you need the ability to feed it rifle ammo, which is not contained on your everyday carry belt.

• Your option to carry rifle magazines should be some combination of chest rig (CR)  / plate carrier (PC).

• Note that the Lite BB concept does not work well in an emergency every day scenario, simply due to the logistical factor of getting a Lite BB on over an already existing pants-belt EDC handgun load. Thus you skip the Lite BB in this situation, and go straight to the CR/PC rifle option.

• Don’t try and carry too much on your CR/PC / Lite BB combination: this is where the lite daypack concept comes in. More later.

• You want to avoid a situation where your gear concept involves a full battle belt, a full chest rig, and a plate carrier, all with big chunky straps, and with too much gear all up. The Lite Battle Belt is deliberately a fairly light piece of equipment, with the CR/PC being the main support item for your rifle. Sustainment and admin items then go in some kind of patrol pack, sized for the situation.

Current Gear Offerings:

MVT Currently offers several types of Chest Rig for various needs. Our Rigs utilize kydex inserts in the magazine pouches, which allow lighting fast combat reloads, hold the pouch open for easy one handed tactical reloads / return of the magazine to a pouch, and provide excellent retention.

MVT Patrol Rig:

• 5.56 (.223) magazine pouches x 6. (Also available in .308)
• Low profile fit with the 6 x magazine pouches close to the body.
• Each magazine pouch is supplied with a Kydex insert which both secures the magazine and allows for fast reloads.
• 3 rows of MOLLE across the rig for maximum versatility.

3x Special Forces Rig:

The 3X Special Forces Rig was designed in collaboration with SOF personnel, specifically to fill the need for a rig that will comfortably carry the AN/PRC 152 radio. This capability has resulted in two collapsible side pouches that enhance the rig by allowing the carriage of 2 x AN/PRC 152 radios (one each side), or 2 x 5.56 magazines in each radio pouch, or use the pouches for admin items or leave them collapsed. In addition, the front of the radio pouches has four rows of MOLLE, for the attachment of admin pouches are needed.

These specific design features and capabilities have resulted in a rig that is extremely versatile to varying load requirements, and will suit non-military as well as military personnel, whether or not you carry a radio on your gear.

• Wear the 3X Rig with the supplied h-harness, over a Plate Carrier or standalone.
• Use the MVT PC Kit (sold separately) to attach the 3X Rig directly to your Plate Carrier.
• Multiple use options, as an assault panel over a PC, or standalone in ‘recce mode.’
• The 3X Rig is designed to allow the radio pouches to adjust comfortably across your chest, or if worn over a PC, the radio/mags fit into the space beside your front plate

The 3X Special Forces Rig is well designed and crafted, 100% MADE IN USA, giving you the ability to carry four (4) x 5.56 (.223) magazines in easily accessible magazine pouches. Utilizing kydex retention inserts in the magazine pouches gives excellent magazine retention while allowing for lighting fast reloads. You can plus up the rig to 8 magazines, using the collapsible radio pouches, if you need.

VERSA Chest Rig:

This well designed and crafted, 100% MADE IN USA chest rig gives you the ability to carry 5.56 (.223) OR 7.62 (.308) magazines in the same rig – all with the simple swapping of a velcro fastened insert. Silent Admin Pouches:

In three sizes.

Designed for the MVT line of Chest Rigs, the admin pouches will attach to any MOLLE webbing. An innovative design:

• ‘Tuck Tab’ method of fastening makes access to and closure of the pouch silent. No velcro.
• ‘Tuck Tunnel’ design to secure the pouch to MOLLE webbing.
• Small Pouch dimensions: 6 inches tall, 3.25 inches wide, 1.5 inches deep.

PC Attachment Kit:

This will attach any MVT Rig to a Plate Carrier. You can also remove the cummerbund and simply use the PC Kit in place of it. Shown below (with a 3X Rig):
