Testing the Shot Stop Level III Special Threat Plate with Green Tip / M855
A ‘torture test’ of the new Shot Stop level III Special Threat rifle plate. The plate is made from new Duritium technology and is specifically designed as a ‘special threat’ plate to defeat potent ammunition such as the M855 ‘Green Tip’ round.
Duritium does not degrade in heat and has no issues with breaking, as is the case with many synthetic (i.e. dyneema) and ceramic / composite plates.
