TC3/RMP + CRCD – May 30 – June 1
TC3
Originally TC3 was going to be a full day class, and I was disappointed to find out that it was being cut to half-day to give time for RMP. Well, my disappointment was short-lived. In half a day with the combination of a great group of guys and Max’s efficient and clear instruction, I learned everything and more than I imaged I would have learned in an entire day. Most of us mostly likely (and if not, should) carry an IFAK, but if you are like me, I hadn’t taken the time to learn how to use it’s contents. TC3 teaches the basic and effective use of your IFAK’s contents, and with practice, this training will help save lives.
RMP
I consider myself to be a marginal shooter and try to shoot / train every weekend. I typically try to practice emergency reloads and rifle-to-handgun transitions. I also practice shooting-and-moving as well as train with a group of guys at a friends house where we are able to do some more contact drills and such. One thing I have never practiced (until attending RMP) is stoppages. I never even thought about the need to practice clearing the various stoppages that can occur on the battlefield, but I see now that it is VERY crucial – thanks to Aaron’s SUPERB instruction. I HIGHLY recommend RMP for individuals with any level of experience. Not only is it just pure fun, its also an excellent “primer” for CRCD or any other training.
CRCD
Every American should have this training. I have been to other trainings including a weekend where we learned S.W.A.T. tactics. This training was good if you are planning on only fighting untrained civilians in an SHTF situation. In reality we will most likely be fighting armed military or private contractors. CRCD is phenomenal training for learning real life tactics for rifle combat and I believe is vital training for all to be able to defend the United States against foreign invasion and / or tyranny. Max’s ability to clearly and effectively instruct made the whole weekend a thrilling and extremely valuable experience.
CRM
I didn’t attend CRM, but i’m writing this because of how important I think CRM is based on my discussion with students who attended.
If you are uncertain of your rifle handling abilities and are not sure you can handle CRCD yet, GO TO CRM (Combat Rifle Manipulation). I was able to speak with a few students who were attending CRM during the weekend with Aaron, and all I heard was positive feedback. I will be bringing my wife (who is very capable with her AR15, but feels she needs a little more entry level tactical training before attending CRCD) and I highly recommend everyone doing the same! I also hope to bring two of my buddies with me. I view CRM as a pre-requisite to CRCD if you don’t have good previous tactical training with your rifle. Aaron (who teaches the class) is an EXCELLENT instructor who is extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with. This is the perfect class to bring your friends, girlfriend, family member(s) or wife to so they can experience tactical rifle training and get to know their weapon in a safe and stress-free, square range environment.

TC3
There is a lot of info on the subject. Max clearly and in a well thought out presentation cut through all the BS into this half day course.
Take away. High and tight.
RMP
Aaron. Excellent instruction. I’ve sat under a few instructors in my time. Some good some not so. A good instructor can read a an individual, connect and teach. Aaron is that instructor. Also a well thought out safe and no ego class. I wish I had this years ago. It takes forever to stumble through on your own.
Take away. Stoppages will happen and have to be dealt with properly, effectively, fast then back into the fight and maintain momentum.
CRCD
Max must have instructed a lot of guys, it shows. Again, well prepared and thought out class. His instruction has opened my mind. I had some preconceived notions of reacting to contact, many now corrected and some confirmed. No ego, no BS correction and feedback
Take away. Com is key (communication). Don’t over think it. Look before you leap (bound form cover to cover). Work through tunnel vision. More PT. “FF” does not stand for function or effective.
Also, lets not forget Fred. Very insightfully presentation and Q&A. Fact and opinion clearly defined on event possibilities and misconceptions regarding SHTF scenarios.
Take away. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet.
