Shipping Ammo For Training

I have had a number of inquiries about shipping ammo for attending one of my training classes. Up till now, I haven’t been able to accommodate this because my PO Box does not accept shipments of ammo.

For long distance travelers, we have so far had to procure ammo locally and this is not an ideal way to do it.

Well, who would have thunk it: UPS! I now have a UPS mailbox:

Max Velocity Tactical,  7371 Atlas Walk Way #122, Gainesville, VA 20155.

The USPS PO Box remains for mail for the short term, but I will be phasing it out in favor of the UPS Mailbox.

You are welcome to ship ammo to this UPS mailbox in advance of a class. I will bring it to the training site for you.

Rules:

1. Don’t ship me anything illegal.

2. Tell me what you are going to ship, and when.

3. Remind me prior to your class about the ammo so I can remember to throw it in  the truck and bring it up for you.

On another note: MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Live Hard.

Die Free.

  1. My .02 non inflation adjusted I wouldn’t do this. It seems like an opportunity for a local retailer to make a profit and undercut the markup of the shippers.

    • This will allow long distance students to bring the ammo they have/want, rather than relying on me to find them some. It was a time suck. This brings freedom of choice. If there are any NOVA ammo retailers who want to offer a deal to my students, I can always put it out there as an option. I simply pass it on at cost.

      • Max, If a local brick and mortar was willing to treat bulk shooters like people that has promise. Unfortunately I usually see places that have bulk quantities of ammo available still wanting to make 3 bucks a box of 20 which puts a case of ammo at 200 or more percent of the going online price.

With the UPS box a guy could ship stuff he has or order from an online dealer and have it shipped there, thus paying shipping only one time.

  2. Have a blessed Christmas and new year Max and all fellow students… Have a great new year. May we meet to train and not to fight this coming year.

    • Max, Fellow students and all, A Very Merry and Blessed Christmas!!!

And may Jay’s wishes be true!! God willing!
