*NEW* Training Video Page
Now that I have found out how to work with YouTube creator, I am editing the video from the Texas class into understandable training video. I have created a new ‘TRAINING VIDEO’ page which is located on the main menu on the website.

I will continue to add new videos daily as I work with what I have, and I plan to start taking video at future classes.
I could have just deleted this, but I am going to put it here to stimulate discussion! This comment came in from ‘OldSouth’ but on an unrelated post (the ambush debate post):

What can you do with that? I mean haters are haters, but it just doesn’t make any sense. “Tactical nonsense”? Carrying a GoPro in combat?
It’s a training video?
Is it just me, or is the stupid overwhelming?
Sounds like someone who has nothing better to do than to be the negative voice in life while showing stupendous ignorance on the topic at hand. Comments like this are worth little more than the entertainment they provide to those of us who have the presence of mind to think twice :)
GoPros are seemingly everywhere in combat these days, examples being videos posted from Syria and Ukraine. Yes, some of them may be considered pointless, but I’d say much can be drawn from them as they give a certain amount of insight into actual combat (sounds, conditions, even seeing real-time woundings and death), not that I have any experience in this myself.
My point is, Max has used at least one of these clips as yet another Learning Tool/example to draw from (Break Contact, MORE PT!!). No joy comes from watching these types of videos, however they help to sober thoughts and dispel any assumed “video game realities” with Actual Reality. A dirty, chaotic and nasty one.

Well, keep up the great work Max. You’re heading down the correct path, evolving the training and getting the message out thru enhanced media.
I’d sponsor “OldSouth” for some training in WV to show him the light but would be afraid he’d show up w/ a M1 complete with bayonet, canvas leggings , and eating K rations.( tongue in cheek ….I was part of a 4 man team that included a M1, then a M14, and then ponchos…we were old and slow(except for the Marine that was swinging about the trees like Tarzan)). We survived and are better for it.
I’ll do my part to get the message out….this is real training!

We all know how invaluable video can be for several reasons.
Professional, College, High school football teams all use video review for games and practice to identify strong points and weak points in both themselves, and the next opponent. Individual mistakes are easily identified and corrected, and all can see exactly what happened. Warriors should be no different.
Even during a home defense situation, if I have the time to put on my plates, I will activate an attached PRC (Personal Role Camera) to record my actions in self-defense from MY perspective. I can only see that being a help if things go to court…
Disregard the old man naysayers who cannot adapt to the changing times. They will always know better, even if they are still breaking their falls with the butt of the rifle.
It is not with age that comes wisdom, but a preponderance of real life experiences.
