NEW: Max Velocity Tactical CRCD Video!

Thanks to Paul W for creating this. It uses photos from past CRCD classes, and video footage that Paul shot at the March 15/16 CRCD. The bunker busting scenes are from the squad hasty attack on the Sunday afternoon, the final event of the class.

Next on the agenda: scenes from the Combat Patrol Class, set to awesome music ;-)

With all that running around, kneeling, going prone, hiding behind stuff…… and with all the ditches, tree’s, and other stuff in the way, how the heck am I supposed to get into a proper fighting stance and square up to my target? Or get a proper extended grip on my rifle? How the heck am I going to perform my lightning fast .075 sec. speed reload?
    This is obviously some kind of parody video or joke.

  6. Good video, though I would have ditched the cheesy over dubbing and music and just relied on the actual true training sounds etc, would have been much better. A kind of “what you see is what you get” no nonsense no bullshit video.

  10. I started to type out a reply to that guy, but then thought, you know, I’m tired of wasting my time trying to point things out to motards like that. He’s not going to get it because he’s either mentally incapable, or, just intentionally doesn’t want to. Screw ’em.

      >Kneeling is specifically allowed on the CRCD weekend, for other reasons that you are not privy to. If you knew anything about my training or what I teach you would know that I am big on taking cover.

      > Did you realize that this was a 4 man team, with two buddy pairs? You mainly only see the left buddy pair, because the SF guy in the right pair wanted to be out of camera angle. The left pairs consists of two US Marines, one a recent combat vet. They are using suppressors. The targets are adequately suppressed. The whole point of this team break contact drill (contact front) is to suppress the enemy while withdrawing to break contact.

      “They relied on talking or shouting to each other, instead of hand and arm signals.”
      > of course they did, that’s what you do in a firefight, shout at each other/ Hand and arms signals? No, not when fire and moving like this.

      “They did not achieve fire superiority, unless they were fighting stick men. The volume of fire was low enough to make the OPFOR think there were only two of them, not four. While that could be an advantage in some cases, a heavier volume of fire would convince the OPFOR they had a viable opponent, and make them cautious.”
      > There were multiple electronic pop-up targets in this drill and they were adequate suppressed with accurate fire.

      “And I dare you, I double dare you, to stand up completely like they did, face to the rear, and run upright, slowly, like they did, in a fire fight, and move to your next position. If you’re facing anyone of any competence, they’ll kill you. High crawling to the next position would be safer.”
      > That aspect is explained to the students in training, but you wouldn’t know that. The drill is done at the run, unless enemy fire is so sever that it must be done at the crawl. In this case, that is why we aim to suppress the enemy as we move back. Do you know how infantry tactics work, specifically these types of drills? Have you been in combat as a dismounted infantryman?

      “That particular team needs a lot of training. And WTF is it with moving in an area like that so close together, when it is so open, and daylight? Wide open spaces are called kill zones for a reason.”
      > This is not a team, but four individuals working together as a team for the first time in a two day class. That is the first time they have done this drill live. The area is ion fact not open, it is wooded. It is a range. The whole point of the range is to get them into contact so they can fight out of it. If they crept around my ranges all day, then I would never get any training done.
      Seriously? You just took a shit on that video with no fucking idea what is going on. Get a grip of yourself. Seriously. There is so much more that I can say but its hard knowing where to begin. People like you are part of the problem not the solution.

        • I love the people who think they can see 90 seconds of video and immediately pass judgement on an entire class. I would love this jackwagon to come to a class and actually learn a little bit. I spent plenty of time learning this stuff, teaching this stuff, and actually using this stuff in combat and on the training field and I still learned a lot from the course. I would like to send every private combat arms guy I know to this course. If nothing else, they will learn how to teach.
