NEW: ACTIVE SHOOTER CCW Class

We are bringing a new class online: Active Shooter CCW.

The first class is scheduled for February 20-21 2016. There is no prerequisite.

More details will be put out about this class. In outline, this is a concealed handgun class aimed at defense against active shooter scenarios. This class will start at the basics of carry and safe operation of the concealed handgun, and progress to self-defense scenarios.

This is not a pocket pistol or backup gun class. This is designed for inside the waistband (IWB) concealed carry handguns, service calibers: 9mm, .40S&W, .45 ACP, .357 Sig etc. Outside the waistband (OWB ) carry is also suitable, so long as it is concealed (no SERPA holsters, and make sure any holster is a quality item). You will be required to carry at minimum two spare magazines on your person. You will require approximately 7oo-800 rounds.

Appendix carry, cross draw, shoulder holster, small of the back carry is not permitted at this class. An idea of permitted carry positions would be inside the waistband (IWB) roughly from 2:30 to 4 o’clock on the right side and 10:30 to 8 o’clock on the left hand side.
