Notice some mentions of MVT on that Western rifles site again also. I check it every few months and evidently stopped at just the right time.
I thought you had another class up north and didn’t want to pester you, my bad.
No haven’t done it yet, have to find an FFL in this area to accept it.
Any better deals out there on this particular model?
Got a Magpul stock already which I assume will fit.
Looking for a handguard that comes already with rails on sides and top, don’t want to have to add six hundred Legos to the deal if…[Read more]
All sounds great, Max! The best dudes I know are MVT alumni I have trained with… and I think all of them/us were honored with the Team Coyote patch.

What we need is a shirt that says
“April 15th, 1775 “Hell yes we are going to take their weapons!”
How did that work out for you?
First Sgt. delivered AGAIN!!!
Shot it all the way through left handed (I’m naturally right handed). Fun as hell.
He’s changed the content of the class and I’d highly advise folks do the class again, maybe even taking it backwards (left handed). Seriously, how much experience do you get shooting left handed?
Can’t guarantee their won’t be some whiny socialists that get an early bed time however….
Just a few more days fellows and ladies!
Make sure you review the info packet, most especially the meet up instructions- 7am at the Rally Point Saturday morning. If you forget almost anything I can help you with that, but if you don’t follow those directions to the rally point, I can almost guarantee you will be lost.
We roll out from the rally…[Read more]
Trained with one of these guys for years when we were kids. One of the first IADs he taught us was the center peel.
I think they were keen to that because of the tighter environment of the jungle.
Friends don’t let friends buy ATN products…
I have flown for years with a nice “autographed” baseball stuffed in a sock (you know to keep my left hand autographed baseball from losing value)… Stroy goes that I’m going to see an old friend that played baseball in college and it’s a joke….
It goes through TSA easily and has never been questioned. It was on clearance so I’ll put it out…[Read more]
Hope your staying dry Joe!
It looks like it could have been worse with more of a direct hit. A little rain we can use though.
How much on the 6920 and where?
I got a couple Primary arms scopes a few months back. Put on an AR10 and put another one on a milled Saiga AK.
Both zeroed quickly and made good groups at 100 on paper. Both gave first round hits on 3/4 size IDPA steel targets at 419 yards.
The one on the AK I’ve shot more, but maybe only about 500 rounds. Zero hasn’t changed and I’ve noticed…[Read more]

Probably your best video yet.
Very professional. Made your points well.
The MMA/combatives analogy is completely accurate. Can’t tell you how many “backyard scrapers” which are the equivalent of the “self taught via Youtube” shooters come in and get their azzes handed to them by our littlest, youngest and/or least experienced guys. No quick…[Read more]
I can definitely shoot a 5.45 AK faster keeping everything tight than I can with the X39 versions I have. I pulled a shot timer out after years of never touching it and at 25 yards the ready up drill starting from patrol ready with three rounds on target averaged 1.25 to 1.6’ish with the AR and AK74 being at the lower end and X39 AK being near the…[Read more]
I’m totally saying “alibi” next time on Max’s range when I miss a target or have a jam….
May just get a shirt made up that says that and just point to it with my finger to save some more effort, or maybe a temporary tatoo on my forehead for each class, then I can just nod.
Seriously though, WTFF is that?? LOL
This is an excellent class and one of them that you WILL want to take numerous times. I’ve been twice and if we weren’t hosting Defensive Concealed Handgun at our range in GA that weekend, I’d be there again!
The class changed a lot from December to May, for the better. More hallway work, a lot more info IMO.
True, true. Hard for me as an AK guy to remember all the rulz.
