Obviously I don’t have the equipment to measure actual lumen output, however I do have some other lights to compare it with.
My Steiner Mk7 WML is rated at 350 Lumens and it’s output is the closest to this upgrade, with the G2 now being somewhat brighter than the Mk7.
So my best guesstimate is the G2 is now around 400 lumens with rechargeable…[Read more]
The Surefire G2 Nitrolon came out around 2003 or so and with the the standard P60 bulb put out 65 lumens of white light with approximately 1 hour of runtime.
The P61 High Output 120 Lumen Replacement bulb put out 120 lumens for 20 minutes.
How times have changed!
I’ve had this Surefire G2 Nitrolon floating around my junk boxes for at…[Read more]
What drives me nuts about such incidents is the military having to rely on Local civilian LEO’s to save them.
Today being Pearl Harbor day it always amazes me that the limited ground fire wouldn’t even be possible today as all the weapons would have been locked up and with most ammunition in yet another locked location.
Consider what…[Read more]
Thanks for doing this again.
I’ll post some pictures soon. I had some computer problems I am straightening out, hence the delay in posting.
As noted in another thread my recent body mass reduction is paying off. This is especially evident after doing the (day two) ruck and even the next day with far less joint stiffness than…[Read more]

So his can’t be emphasised enough!
We have enough legitimate problems to deal with to allow ourselves to be manipulated for those with hidden agendas.

I thought this many times when considering the insanity these untrained fools would bring!
Exactly, we train and prepare, but have no illusions to the tragic results a fight will bring.
While we don’t want it, we will not shy away from fighting if left with only being a slave.
Angry, fearful, and agitated brings poor decisions at time when…[Read more]
Well it would be too easy if you had a super patriot sheriff?
Don’t give up!
One he maybe able to learn or at least react to how the majority of citizens feel, assuming you got a majority.
If not; or regardless, when is his next election?

Don’t like using their assault term!
Too many get freaked out about tangents.
Why would you worry about training if all you banned weapons are hidden somewhere?
The most likely action by these goofballs!
Most of these idiots will be fine as long as the can rant online about the latest conspiracy while whining about doing…[Read more]

They hear what they want to hear vice misunderstand.
Then they pretend to be prepared for the latest fad threat!
Always working themselves up into a flurry of “keyboard kammando” posts predicting the end is near!
Is anyone here actually worried about what potential crimes they will be charged with should things go full tyranny!

Always have someone battling to be the ultimate posterchild example of stupidity!
Giving Virginia’s situation this is worth a bump!
As a refresher…

Don’t mistake Armed Civil Disobedience and armed protest as they are not the same.
For example the talk of armed protest at “Lobby Day” would be counter productive, where Armed Civil Disobedience in…[Read more]
For my requirements I just didn’t want to add more calibers to the fold and I consider 9mm to be sufficient for the intended use.
.300 blk has some excellent qualities, but like everything we do, compromises must be made.
I like the Colt 6951, but for what I envision it’s too big even in a SBR format.

Danger Close is available on Amazon Prime Video as a rental deal for $2.99 vice normal $6.99.
I am sure it’s on other streaming sites as well.
I am working on some custom index options as well and will review that when a successful solution is found.
Awhile back I got a early Colt 9mm AR Carbine in a trade. Initially the main purpose was essentially the same manual of arms for about half the cost of ammo compared to 5.56.

Agreed, shortly after my initial post I moved the Quad pouches to my BELTminus. I could easily conceal that setup with a windbreaker/hoodie if I desired.
It adds very little to your width.
The BELTminus ULTRAcomp material rides secure due to the mild tacky sides grip without needing to be excessively tight.
The Ten-Speed Quad pouches with…[Read more]

BFG’s Ten-Speed Triple M4 Mag Pouch takes up the same footprint as the Ten-Speed Quad MP7 Mag Pouch.
This pouch can hold my 15 round M9, 30 round M9, and Colt AR 9mm magazines.
Retention is secure with standard pistol magazines and adequate for carbine/smg magazines.
Violent shaking upside down caused some of the carbine/smg magazines to…[Read more]
