IDAHO Classes May 2017: Schedule and Adjustments

BLUF: A couple of changes have been made to the Idaho class schedule.

• The first Combat Team Tactics 4 day can now be split into separate Combat Rifle Skills (2 day) and Combat Team Tactics (2 day) events (note: the CTT standalone 2 day is for Alumni only).
• The 5 day CTT/Mobility class has the option of Alumni missing the first day of CTT (flat range) and doing a 4 day CTT/MOB class.
• The CQB/Force on Force has been cut to a 2 day class.
• Note that the CQB/FoF classes have no training prerequisite, and can be taken without the Direct Action preceding class.
• These are open enrollment for all comers. Space is available.

Idaho Classes in 2017 will take place on private land in the vicinity of Midvale, approximately 1.5 hours north of Boise ID.

Combat Lifesaver: Wed 10 May. $100. Max Class size: 16

This is an 8 hour period of instruction on Tactical Combat Casualty Care.

Combat Team Tactics (4 Day ): Thu 11 – Sun 14 May. $775. Max Class size: 16

Note: This is a Combat Rifle Skills Class (2 day) followed by a Combat Team Tactics Class (2 Day). Can be taken as a 4 day or as separate 2 day classes (see below):

Breakdown: This class combines the Combat Rifle Skills Class with the tactical range portion of Combat Team Tactics, making an excellent 4 day progression course. This is a live fire class. The classes can be broken into separate 2 day segments.

Day 1 & 2: Combat Rifle Skills: This is a 2 day class, flat range based. Can be taken standalone. Price for standalone class = $450.

Day 3 & 4: Combat Team Tactics: This is a 2 day class. Can be taken standalone by MVT Alumni. Price for standalone class = $450.

Combat Team Tactics / Mobility (Convoy Tactics) (5 Day): Wed 17 – Sun 21 May. $950. Max Class size: 16

Combining the 3 day Combat Team Tactics class with 2 days of Vehicle Tactics / Immediate Action Drills, this is an excellent 5 day progression. This is a live fire class.

MVT Alumni: you have the option off missing off the first day of this class (flat range) and attending 2 day CTT and 2 day Mobility. Cost: $775.

Direct Action Live Fire (3 Day): Tue 23 – Thu 25 May. $575. Max Class size: 16

This class is for Combat Team Tactics (CTT) alumni only. This is a hybrid of the Combat Patrol class. In summary, it will focus on:

Day 1: CTT Revision: fire & movement, assault, break contact.

Day 2: Ambush: teach, conduct ambush, live fire, multiple iterations.

Day 3: Raid: teach, conduct raid, live fire, multiple iterations.

This is a live fire class.

CQB / Force on Force Team Tactics (2 day): Fri 26 – Sat 27 May. $450. Max Class size: 18

This class utilizes UTM Man Marker Rounds for force on target and force on force training. There is no live ammunition requirement for this class. There is no training prerequisite for this class.

Day 1: CQB Training. Structure entry and clearance. Home Defense. Force on Target / Force on Force / Scenario training.

Day 2: Force on Force Team Tactics. Force on Force / Scenario training.

There is a $400 additional charge for UTM ammunition. You will not expend your own live ammunition.
