I just got this new IFAK pouch from TacPro Gear. It is similar to a Sotech Viper flat IFAK but it is a little more compact and a lot less expensive. The quality of the materials and assembly are great. Made in USA. Im really happy I got this. Comes setup for molle or belt use. Customer service is great and gave me some extras for a delay in shipping. :yahoo:

These are great for under the arm on a cummerbund as well.

It will fit all the typical stuff. I’ll get a better pic when I get home from the gym.

I’ve loaded mine with SOFTT-W, HALO seal, 3″ Kerlix, 14 ga Needle for Tension Pneumo, NasaPharyngeal trumpet, 6″ Izzy bandage, and EMT shears. Seems to fit fine (mine is the small).

                                  Here are some pics.
                                  Contents
                                  Israeli Bandage 4″
                                  2 Quikclot Gauze
                                  Nose trumpet
                                  Compressed gauze
                                  Celox Syringe
                                  To be added-
                                  Decompression needle
                                  Duct tape
                                  Chest seal
                                  Sharpie
In full disclosure, while I like this IFAK I think I prefer my Sotech Viper Ifak a little more because of its pocket layout and larger size. However the viper IFak is 3 -4 times more expensive.

Thanks for the rec. I picked up a few of these for our local team. We’re meeting this weekend to train, will put them through the grinder and let you know how they hold up!

Nice! I look forward to hearing about it. I am going to set mine up to run on a belt for use when I’m not running a molle belt. These should also work great for under the arm on a PC.

                                        Bought one myself. Impressions:
                                        – Quality is there. Well worth the price.
                                        – Large seems like overkill unless you’re a medic.
                                        – Shears took a second to figure out. There is a pass-through behind the main compartment with a plastic sheet in it. Added a strip of velcro and boom.
                                        – Dummy cording shears is a little odd. There’s no great place to stuff all the cord.

Extra pictures for your pleasure since even the website does not show the insides of the pouch.

@idahocajun @darkrivers How are you guys stashing your shears in here? Added a lanyard and just sticking mine through the either the belt passage or molle loops horizontally.

I keep my shears either on my battle belt or on my chest rig. I’ve been using the Leatherman Raptor shears at work and on all of my kit for the last couple of years. They fold up and come with a molle attachement case. I found myself utilizing them enough to not store them in the IFAK, but keeping them way more accessible. As for the raptors, they cost a bit…but are BADASS! Hope that helps.

1 on the raptor (and keeping it handy). I only have one so far but would like to add more in to the other loaner kits and such one day. Good stuff :good:
