This book sits by my bedstand for ready reading and has been there several years.
You could call ‘Contact” THE book for ‘tactical prepping’ if you want to call it that.
If don’t have it, it’s clearly the book to get.
Essentially the subject matter is an adaptation of small unit tactics to the prepper world, but there’s a heap of info on all…[Read more]
Excellent find, and as some have noted in various threads, the other side in all their configurations, mean business and are serious. They clearly approach their ‘events’ as actual actions and are continuing to develop a real playbook of ‘lessons learned.’
More than a few people underestimate them, their seriousness, and the depth of their…[Read more]

First-hand info on NYC events from Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels (NYC based citizen anti-crime group started in the 70’s) with chapters in other cities.
Likely many people have seen the videos of white people kneeling not in support, but begging forgiveness for ‘privilege’ and for sins real and imagined on the part of their forebears, and for just plain existing. Sometimes tearfully, sometimes actually grovelling. Sometimes as part of a ‘religious’ service, and sometimes just because someone…[Read more]

Meaning “They”…[Read more]

The landlord has offered tenants a rent deferment of two months, but starting September they will add the deferred portions to the next 4 months rent, basically meaning we will have to pay rent…[Read more]
As for what to do next, Kurt Schlicter wrote some good stuff today in town hall; the summary is basically to mock and ridicule, vote where possible, ditto on fighting in court, and finally civil disobedience.
The key premise is that ‘they’ have NO moral authority other than what ‘they’ have simply appropriated unto themselves.
I’d like to see…[Read more]
Two-time Texas alumni; CTT and Mobility 2015 (maybe ’16) and this year’s training. Wore woodland; probably the oldest guy there. Had a bad knee first class but did better this last course.

I’m in for Texas 2020, and was planning on taking the CLC next year. If it is offered again next year I will put a deposit down as soon as it is announced.
Since this year’s Texas class improving for next year’s ‘performance’ has become a near-obsession; nothing like experiential learning for putting things into perspective, both good and bad.
The back story is that prior to this year’s training I only had attended the fundamentals class in Texas in ’16. However, I have done a great deal of square…[Read more]
