DizNC, your analysis about the sleeper virus customization I believe is spot-on. I would not put this point past ANY developed nation with a bioweapon program.
Like so many past major happenings, time will tell where the truth lies, maybe…. of course, it may be well after we are dead. (Look at China’s official story of the Tiananmen Square…[Read more]
Thank you for the links guys.
I hope to never be in such a fight, but I will endeavor to learn how to survive one without getting my teammates killed.
Max’s instruction is key to that survival!
Thank you for posting this JohnnyMac!
As a courier for a major delivery company I have not had (or taken) the time to do the Fitmas workout plan, as this occurs during our busiest time of year. Usually during that “peak” time I get in 8-10 miles humping packages in varied terrains and conditions, so I’ve never felt pushed to add more workout…[Read more]
thank you for the write-up and your help throughout the week. Good AAR!
Yep, the page is gone. Anyone have a copy saved on their hard disk?
You mention a lack of organization, a point that has been brought up many times in various patriot. IIIper, Constituational posts and artcles over the years.
I agree that “WE” don’t have an unifying organizational effort to lead from. This has been the bane of conservativeas most of my life. The closest we had in recent events is the March in…[Read more]

Well, I’ll cherish the few bottles of tonic water I still have, but the gin is good with a little vermouth….
A valuable lesson I learned at Texas 2020 was to send 2-3 rounds to your target then look around at your team to see what’s happening. This automatically gets you out of your tunnel vision and keeps you safer as a team member.
I was emphatically called down by Max (deserved it!) for continuing to shooting at a target after the target was “down”.…[Read more]
I knew about honey and wheat (I also have wheat berries) but was unaware of the rice’s longevity.
I just sampled some rice I stored* in 1997. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that it tasted just as fresh as new rice. I gave some to my wife as a “blind” test too and she replied it tasted fine. Then I told her how old it was and she showed mild surprise…I think she was thinking, “Maybe his prepping is not a waste…”

Great question considering the current conditions and .govs and mayors closing places for health reasons. I stocked up at the local grocery store to assemble my daily lunches (for the range). Besides MREs, you may have to provide three meals that way. But relying on things being open and stocked could be sketchy.
Best of luck, I wish I could offer more.
To echo Max’s comment, there were people from Arizona, Colorado, Indiana and Oklahoma so it’s just not a Texans only thing. (Forgive me if I forgot another participant’s state.)
Go To the OK HEAT 1 class and then sign up for the Texas 2021 class!

This quote from the article sums up a lot of prepper mental gymnastics:
“We are still at a stage in a shell game and nobody knows which shell the SHTF is hiding under.”
I believe there are multiple “surprises” under the shells…. COVID-19, economic collapse, suspension of Habeas Corpus (already done with the 9th circuit court).
I hope…[Read more]
personal memory serves me correct, classes end (generally) around 1700 hours. Folks head to their hotels and prepare for dinner, which is usually downtown somewhere. While there are options to eating in town, A couple of use usually ended up meeting with others in one place. That will just come naturally as the days progress.
I was back in the…[Read more]
Thank you for the great AAR, Lloyd! More detailed than mine, but between the two, folks may get a good idea of the class!
I got my from the web:
I came across this app, Sortly, that is an inventory app that is suitable to log for one’s preps. They have a free version too. I’ve played around with it and it has some good features, but like any inventory method, the setup and first entries take time.
I want more info on your comment about prepacked comfort and hygiene kits.
Mountain bike on challenging trails with a 10 – 15 daypacks will get your HR up and your legs burning!
One does have to watch out for injury….. make sure your bike fits you correctly and wear PPE in case you fall.
The app “Trailforks” helps you find trails in your area with lots of options.
Well, the book is not in “any HPB store” according to my local store, so I ordered a “new” on from a third party. Looking forward to the read!
Just came across this thread and searched for the book… $28-$42… ouch.
Half Price Books has it for $17. I’ll look for it later at my local stores.
