Helmets are superior for night vision mounting. They obviously protect your head. Depends on your mission. This is my opinion. I have both bump and Team Wendy ballistic. The Team Wendy is very comfortable. All of the attachment devices from the nods mounts to the ear pro are going to run hundreds of dollars above just the helmet.
Trained during the winter with a helmet (Bump) doing NODS so I get the advantage of having a firm NODS mount and earpro attached. Have a Crye skull cap but haven’t used it yet. @Max curious if plates in a kinetic enviro are a near-must, can same be said for a ballistic helmet? Maybe a decent video to address?
