        Vice: Nobody needs an AR-15.

Also Vice: Trump is a fascist building concentration camps for brown people, the world as we know it is going to collapse into chaos because of capitalism and global warming, and a nationwide network of literal fucking Nazis are conducting military exercises to seize power when that happens.

This article has more tangible details than hearsay:

        https://medium.com/@justinward/race-war-preppers-a16c4ab5e5c6

        This part caught my attention:

These conversations can be both silly and deeply disturbing. In one instance, members discuss a hypothetical SHTF scenario and theorize about how much force would be needed to take over a small town. They envision a three-way battle between civic nationalist “patriot” militias, antifascists and Neo-Nazis.

Not that anyone here should need convincing but these guys already have targets on our heads.

Apparently their leader is a self-described combat vet who goes by the alias Norman Spear, he self-produced a number of videos for his acolytes instructing them in guerrilla warfare.

        https://www.bitchute.com/video/x6QJMXBTQ0eE/

I don’t have the time to review the video at the moment but would probably be worth checking out to see what is and isn’t there in terms of TTP.

If this group is as real as it claims to be there could be enough members in these cells to cause havoc in a civil disturbance scenario and discredit FREEFOR to their own advantage, so worth keeping tabs on. Jihadis in Syria weren’t the bulk of the Syrian protest movement in 2011 but they played it smart, outmaneuvered the secularists, and eventually established dominance in the Free Syrian Army. Neo-Nazis are actively studying jihadi tactics for inspiration and those out in the Pacific Northwest should take extra caution since WNs have had their eye on that region for a while now.

It seems The Base is an affiliate of Atomwaffen Divison, which would make sense since most of their strategy and propaganda is similar.

Apparently their leader is a self-described combat vet who goes by the alias Norman Spear, he posted a number of instructional videos on guerrilla warfare. I don’t have time to review them myself at the moment but it might be worth checking out to see what their TTP is and what is and isn’t there.

This article seems to have the most detail of any I’ve found on them.

This bit stuck out to me:

These conversations can be both silly and deeply disturbing. In one instance, members discuss a hypothetical SHTF scenario and theorize about how much force would be needed to take over a small town. They envision a three-way battle between civic nationalist “patriot” militias, antifascists and Neo-Nazis. Cadiantrooper writes “We successfully take the village at first and then the patriots come back eventually with a stronger force. We’ll re-enact the gun battle in the mall from Dawn Of The Dead.”

Not that anybody here should be surprised but these guys are actively planning to gun for us when things go south, so better to gather what intelligence you can on them. If they’re anywhere as effective as they aim to be they could quickly discredit FREEFOR to their own advantage once hostilities break out. Jihadis managed to do the same quite successfully against the FSA before subverting them entirely and Neo-Nazis are actively studying jihadi literature for tactics. These groups are especially fond of the Pacific Northwest so if you’re up there and not already aware of them they should be a factor in your security analysis.

See its groups like this that worry me. I live in a rural enough area that current military doctrine wouldnt have a big presence here initially. But ive always had a sinking feeling that people like this will go unchecked in any type of large scale event due to the militia types and government forces spending all their time and energy fighting each other. Ill have to check out their ttp’s after installing a vpn on my android and add this kinda crap as things i need to learn about, be able to identify and avoid or fight against. On a somewhat different note, what makes people want to put others under their boot? Why cant people adopt a “ill leave you and yours alone, you leave me and mine alone” attitude? Ive always wondered about this from a historical/philosophical/psychological stand point and wonder what the “experts” would say

                Money/power, perceived superiority/righteousness, ego, fear

Political tags – such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative, and so forth – are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.”

I am a libertarian. We just want to “take over the world” and leave everyone alone.

I have suspected that should such hypothetical as yet event occur, that I will be far more busy dealing with these kooks than any other endeavor.

There will be plenty of others focused on short term issues. B-)

I was kind of lazy about updating this with the raids against The Base that occurred pre-Richmond, this just came out like last night and is a bit of a big deal so figured I’d post it here.

The identity of “Norman Spear”, the leader of The Base has been revealed.

                      https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/jan/23/revealed-the-true-identity-of-the-leader-of-americas-neo-nazi-terror-group

Better to read the whole thing but some noteworthy bits:

But the Guardian can reveal that “Norman Spear” is in fact US-born Rinaldo Nazzaro, 46, who has a long history of advertising his services as an intelligence, military and security contractor. He has claimed, under his alias, to have served in Russia and Afghanistan.

Property record searches revealed that three 10-acre blocks of undeveloped land were purchased in December 2018 for $33,000 in the name of a Delaware LLC called “Base Global”. In a telephone conversation in late November, Manke confirmed that this was the block of land he had been referring to.

                      Talk about bad OPSEC.

Nazzaro is the principal of an LLC called Omega Solutions International (OSI), a company offering a range of intelligence and security contracting…The firm also has a Cage Code, which is an administrative requirement for military and government contractors.

How hard is it to get a Cage Code? Max would probably know.

“Norman Spear” has told Base members that he remains in Russia. Law enforcement sources have indicated on background that Nazzaro is believed by some agencies to be working for the Russian government.

Seems nobody is sure of whether he’s an FBI honeypot or a Russian asset. Worth noting that Iron March was a major Neo-Nazi website run out of Russia that was recently hacked and the data made public.

Someone pointed out on Twitter that Spear/Nazzaro doesn’t communicate like a normal Neo-Nazi, lack of swearing or use of racial slurs, like “a Mormon pretending to be a Nazi”.

Good update, it will be interesting to find out his real background.

If confirmed he does have such a background, it’s a good reminder that just because someone’s nuts, socialist, or whatever doesn’t mean they don’t have skills.

Something to remember when considering Socialist opposition do not assume what you have seen demonstrated by antifa is the best they have to offer!

Always assume you are facing better trained people than yourself until proven otherwise. This assumption is far more forgiving if wrong, assuming they are untrained incompetents can be very costly.

                        :good:
