        For those of us who need an extra kick in the pants or morale boost, I propose we have a motivational thread- it can be anything- video, picture, article, song/music- A great speech, an awesome picture, or an epic feat of arms. Doesn’t matter, as long as it fits the “motivational” criteria.
        Just within reason- yes, boobage is motivating, but I’m sure we can all figure out how to google that on our own, right? ;-)
        If needed, post a “NSFW/Language” warning.
        I’ll start.

        Minor language, but one of the best no- BS speeches ever.

          Great idea! I’m struggling to meet my fitness goals. My gut just won’t go away, upper body strength is lacking, and I don’t have the money to train as I would like.

          However, I know that each little bit helps, even if it takes a long time to see it.

          Here’s one from me!

                          I’m having a real hard time motivating myself to go out running tonite :(
                          my heel has an ever so slight tweak to it I could easily say I dont do it to limit the chance of a flare up.

                          But if I dont run tonite it will be impossible for me to have the minimum 3 cardios for the week as I only have Wed, Thu and Fri left in the week to work out and Fri has to be my leg/core/back mobility iron pump which I dont want to miss.

                          I could drive to the pool but its almost 20 min one way….and the cardio workout in the pool often does not feel like enough for me.

                            Ive always been of the opinion that PT when you’re not feeling it is like sex when you’re not feeling…. Do what you can do. Make the best of it. Some is better then nothing.

                              alright I am back. 36:15 min moderate pace.
                              A lot faster than I originally had planned but not all out either.

                              Not my next run but not my worst either and a moderate run is still much better than no run at all :yahoo:

                                Ok back to motivation:
                                Basically whether you have a good or weak week can hinge on small things on occasion.
                                So knowing that I am fully on schedule for a good week I ran again today.
                                This time with my normal running buddy and the run was further and faster and hillier than last nights run .. :yes:
