          If you must carry a cell phone with a plan in your name, paid for by a credit card in your name (prepaid plans from mint mobile using a virtual privacy.com credit card and a protonmail email address and alias is clearly a better idea), it’s best to limit location tracking and keep the thing in a silent pocket as much as possible. Yes, it’s not as convenient, however I seem to remember getting along just fine without being constantly available or on-line.
